The Star Supply Supply Company Learning Center
The Star Supply Company offers sales and technical seminars in its 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art training centers to provide a convenient location for your continuing HVAC&R education. Our goal is to improve and broaden your company's service and installation skills and to provide guidance to assist you with the growth and development of your business.
The Star Supply Company employs several seasoned and experienced instructors. Our instructors use both classroom and hands-on training techniques to help our dealers and customers stay informed, remain competitive and grow their businesses. In addition, we utilize our strong relationships with our manufacturers, along with several other third party vendors to provide top quality instruction. We also assist our dealers and customers in obtaining certifications and remain compliant in various technical certifications including, EPA Certification and NATE Certification.

Off-Site Training and Instruction

Self study
The Star Supply Company, in a partnership with The Trane Company, provides several self study/at home training courses for registered Trane Dealers, at no charge. There are currently over 40+ e-learning courses. Check it out at www.tranelearningresources.com. You will need to use an access code to get in and then you will choose your own UserID and password. If you are a registered Trane Dealer and are interested in learning more about these programs, please contact The Star Supply Company for assistance.
The Star Supply Company also provides assistance in electing HARDI self study courses. More information on this program can be found on HARDI's website . Please contact our Marketing Department for further details.

Nate Certification
North American Technician Excellence, Inc. (NATE) is the leading non-profit
certification program for technicians in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning,
and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry and the only test supported by the entire industry.
The Star Supply Company highly encourages all contractors and technicians to be NATE certified.
Many of the courses we offer are approved for recertification hours, and we regularly schedule NATE
testing sessions, assisting you in your preparation for the test.

EPA Certification
The Star Supply Company requires contractors and technicians to provide their EPA for certain purchases. We currently provide our customers and dealers with an added service of administering the testing for EPA Certification and we provide the resources to prepare you for the testing.

Daikin Training Center
During the Spring of 2009, The Star Supply Company completed a hands on training center focusing solely on Daikin products. The Star Supply Company Daikin Training Facility is the premier facility throughout all of North America. The Center is fully equipped with Mini Split (RA), Multiport, Sky Air, VRV-III and VRV-WII Series equipment.
All equipment is fully operational, enabling participants to fully interact with the equipment in order to provide the most optimal learning experience. We are currently offering the following training seminars during the Winter and Spring months:
- 1 Day Mini Split (RA) / Sky Air Install and Commissioning
- 1 Day VRV Install and Commissioning
- 1 Day VRV Service and Troubleshooting
- 1 Day Daikin Service Checker
