We pride ourselves in timely handling of warranty claims and knowledge over the various manufacturer’s policies and procedures.
|In addition to the basic manufacturer warranty policies we also offer, for purchase, extended warranties on certain products, such as Tecumseh. In addition, several of our manufacturers offer the ability to purchase extended warranties directly from them, or a third party. |Trane dealers are eligible to purchase a Trane extended warranty by visiting Comfortsite.com. Trane dealers sell the extended warranties to the homeowner directly. ||All Weil McLain extended warranties are serviced by CornerStone United. Any contractor that wants to sell an extended warranty needs to be registered with CornerStone United. In order to contact CornerStone United, please call 1-800-824-5090 or visit https://www.cornerstoneunited.com/. Contractors sell the extended warranty to the homeowner directly and in turns pays CornerStone.
If a homeowner would like to purchase an extended warranty and no longer has contact with the original installing contractor then please contact Weil Mclain (800) 654-2109 and they can provide a list of CornerStone registered contractors in the area.
|The form below is to assist our customers in gathering and completing the necessary information that is typically required for us to process a warranty claim on your behalf. To expedite the processing of a warranty claim, please complete the Warranty Form, and either:

4. Bring in this completed form to our sales counter
General Warranty Part Return Guidelines
|Warranty credit will be issued for all manufacturer warranty items once the return is reviewed and approved by the manufacturer. If the item is required to be sent back to the manufacturer for review and analysis, most manufacturers will charge for the cost of the freight to return the item. This freight charge will be deducted from the final warranty credit when processed.|
If a part is required back, all parts must be returned within 15 days of claim submission
The following manufacturers REQUIRE the part to be returned. Any manufacturer not listed below, customers must hold the part for 90 days or until the warranty credit memo is received.
Any compressor that is required to be returned must be sealed and capped

|Contractors should call the Warranty Call Center at 1-800-654-2109, option 3, and provide warranty claim information. In most cases you will receive a warranty disposition over the phone. Upon warranty approval, please visit us at The Star Supply Company, to obtain a replacement unit/part or receive a credit.
